How do I prevent the bar on the driver’s seat wearing thru?

Did you remove it, or just pad it?

My 04 at 19 thousand miles is starting to do it.

I am wondering to have warranty tackle it sooner or later?

I glued it back together and put a pad on it.

I would have them do it the sooner the better.

Mine was through the foam pretty well too, that's why I just bent mine back and forth and broke it off. Did mine at least a year ago. Seat holds it shape fine. Never had a problem with the passenger side so I haven't touch it.

I didn't think I had a problem with mine either (drivers side) but it started to look a little funny and turned out the foam was alot worse than I thought. Hopefully I'm good now.
