i'm fixing to do a lightning 5.4 swap in my 91 lariat. i found a nice 3V 5.4 out of an 04 F150 for a good price. will the stock eaton on the lightnings bolt up to this? if not, what do i need to be looking at. it seems that the 2V are more expensive than the 3V.

No it will not. Either a 2V is needed or get the 3V and an aftermarket blower.

 

well it looks like i'll be hunting down a 2V.

 

They do make an aftermarket blower for the three valve, Rousch runs one in there truck, 450HP and I'm sure theres room to push that a bit.
