Mad used to insist that it took 500+ hp to get a vehicle as heavy as the Lightning through the quarter in 13.2 at 104. That's what the calculator said.

I wonder if he's modified his position on that 500 hp figure? Could it be that he was actually wrong about something?

Sorry, I never understood MM&FF. Is that Mustang Muscle and Fast Fords or something? I hope to get those times early this fall.

Sean Hyland's got that intercooler reservoir for doing icewater exchanges. Interested to know now what the result of a modified L with icewater exchange during runs would be. They wouldn't say what they got out of it yet til they have it on full production. I guess their L is out getting the headers they designed prototyped and ready for production. For mustang guys, they're really investing the time and money into the Lightning.

Cool

Silver, I'm damn glad you found what apperas to be a quality chip. I saw your dyno numbers and I was impressed. Let us know how it goes at the track. You might wanna wait with ol' Mad` till October or so when it cools off a little. I'm gonna drive to the track, run a 10 sec. time, and drive back home 30 miles one way. I don't need no stinking chip!!! Remember, no two L engines are the same. Some run 14.5's and some run 13.2's with the same mods.. It's just a freaking mystery!!!!!!LOL

Somethings up with that truck if it is true, I wonder if is a ringer or just stack-up luck?
Sometimes the tolerances stack up in your favor, often times they don't.
