I traded my lightning in for an 06 Pontiac GTO. I'm sure no one wants me to post any pictures. I bought an aqua blue M6 LS2 GTO. It doesn't feel as fast as my L from the bottom end but 3rd gear up feels really nice for stock on the GTO. I'm going through the Lightning blues especially since my good friend still has his. I know I may get flamed for buying one on this site but I wanted something different on the road just like the lightning. I don't get as many head turns as I did in the L but I love this car. I will still always be a member of this site and frequent it often.

I still love and always will love the Lightnings and it will always feel good to say I owned one.

 

I have been and still am in your shoes. Its been a year for me and still miss it. I look at my pics and get bummed. Hmmmm if I could do it all over again screw the getting rid of it for something with a back seat just because I got married and having a little one now

I feel for you bro. My L isn't leaving me any time soon. I've been on the verge of selling it a couple of times since I'm closing on my first home in 2 weeks. I just love it too much though. The 12MPG gets to me, but it's just too much fun, and still turns heads. I guess the only good thing is that I convinced my GF to buy a GTO, so I get the best of both worlds . They're great cars bro, so don't beat yourself up over it. 25mpg plus nice top end isn't a BAD thing.
