pullys questions please help

pullys questions please help

well whats the differ if i change the top pully or the bottom. all i want to do is changed a pully and just get a dialbo tuner to it

from what ive been told... if you change the crank pully you will gain more torque less hq, if you change the upper pully you will have more hp less torque

When you change the upper pulley, you go to a smaller diameter pulley which can lead to belt slippage. You change the lower to a larger diameter so belt slippage is not a problem(with the proper belt).

Changing either can increase s/c'r boost and therefore, increase torque and hp but I went with just the lower pulley.

The upper cost just as much or more in the end so why do it plus u get belt slip and possible snout damage.

You should not listen to that person any more.

The engine knows only pulley ratios. It does not know what combination of pulleys produced that ratio.
