What04....

thx a bunch for the info! I was seriously looking at those shocks but now I won't. You are the fifth person to tell me a similar story. I put Bilstein's on my Z28 and it was awesome in the handling department. I will probably do the Roush thing in that case. I just have a couple of questions for them.
I wish KONI made a shock for these trucks.

thx again!

Was wondering that myself. I remember reading in another post something about an RV battery case for it?

Thumbs up

I haven't relocated the battery in my L yet, but I did in my tc kline BMW (behind the passenger seat). I had an Optima gel-cell installed, they are completely sealed, no maintenace, take heat better and save a little on weight. Many off-road racers swear by them -- so far I am very happy with the change. You could even put one in the cab if access is possible from below. Good luck.

If I understood right Koni will be using measurements off of my truck to make some prototype adjustable shocks. I believe we are doing the measuring tomorrow, I will keep you all informed.

Talk to alot of people and they will tell you.....you cant go wrong with Bilsteins. Over the years, the best shock for most applications in my opinion!!!!!!!!

I'm looking for something more aggressive than the bilsteins. Are shocks like tires and weight rated? I want to put some adjustable shocks on, but I suspect that auto racing shocks couldnt handle the lightning's weight and rancho adjustables would be too bouncy.

Ideas?
