I did a search on how often and how to change oil in supercharger.
The info i got was that they are maint. free and dont worry about it unless you have a leak.
Can this be true? doesent the oil break down?

 

I know on my truck when i was using the eaton. The oil was fine untill i had it ported and pushing 18lbs it seemed to put the oil through more heat and cause it to change color sooner. oil is cheap just hard to change still on the truck.

 

I CONTACTED SVT ON THEIR HOT LINE, THEY TOLD ME THE SYNTHETIC OIL WAS GOOD FOR 100,000 MILES IN THE STOCK EATON SUPERCHARGER

I know there NOT apples to apples but for whatever reason the Procharger
(have one on my 99GT) wants the SC oil changed originally at 500 Miles, and then ever 6,000 mi's there after. Guess Centrifugal SC's need it change more often ?
