I have HALF the answer

When I installed the Plasma Booster many years ago (ok ok I know NOW)
I had to tap into 1 wire from each coil, the wire I tapped into WAS NOT the Red Stripped wire.

Unfortunately what I dont remember is if I tapped into the Ground or Power, one would assume it's the Power since your increasing the Spark ???

I always did too , until it cut through and severed 4 coil wires over the years _*&_^_(^)^)^
Eventually I had to put a complete new harness in the L as a result.
(Think about the last coil on the Pass Side, and then think about the wire being cut in half, and how the hell your going to get back there to repair it)

If they had a better way to hook it up (which I believe they now do ?)
I would still recommend it, AMOF I still have mine SOMEWHERE ???

All the coil packs have a constant 12 volt going to them on one side, and the other side goes to the PCM. The packs are ground side switched. The red/green that goes to every pack is the power, and the other wire (different color for each pack), goes back to the PCM.

Thanks Sal. So the red w/green is the power. This isnt for the plasma though. Its for the Nology pro-fire coil paks.

Yes, red/gn is the power. Just keep in mind that it's just keyed 12v on and off. It's not switched or pulsed or anything. That's done on the ground side.
