Affordable Gas !!!
Wow. I went to priceline.com today and they have gas cards. The pump price for premium here in SA is about $1.64 a gallon. Using the priceline card, I'm going to be paying $1.47 a gallon. This rocks!!!
Nathan,
WOW good deal, here in Sunny South Florida 93 octane is 1.65 or so...........
Not as bad as other places for sure!

Yeah, I'd hate to be in California these days. The scary thing is that when I bought this truck, I could buy reg unleaded for $79c a gallon at almost any gas station in town. Now even with priceline its twice that.
I signed up for mine a week ago the site said it would take a couple weeks for me to get it, how long did it take to get yours. How exactly does it work from what I read you give them the price you would like to pay and they either say yes or no. Do they have major gas stations you can go to or do you have to go to "Joes Gas and Grocery"
I joined back in January (knew prices would go up) and finally recieved my priceline card a few weeks ago. I have been very pleased using the card. The only drawback is that you could only purchase up tp 100 gallons of feul per month, otherwise it has helped. I have been paying a average of 1.58 for super unleaded in DE, normally super sels for 1.81 a gallon.

Isn't that the deal where you can offer a price for up to 50 gallons at a time?

My advice is if you're curious, go try it out. Here's how it works:
You pick 3-5 gas stations near you from a list. The list for my area had a decent selection of stations and two of them were places I frequent already. Then, they give you the average price for the fuel grade you selected based on your stations (in my case $1.64 for 93 oct). Finally, they offer you the ability to select from preset lower prices or name your own. I went with the second-to-lowest price (1.47 vs 1.42). They then selected one of the stations on my list for me and locked in the price for my next 50 gallons of gas (you can go as high as 100). In the end, I got the brand of gas I wanted (texaco) at a station about 5 miles away for about $.20/gal below pump price. I had pre-ordered my card a month ago so I dont know what the current wait time is. On the plus side, you dont have to lock in a price until you get your card and activate it.
