Post DAQ (dumb a$$ question)

If humidity and heat are horsepower eaters wouldn't dyno runs be equally as affected as ET's? Deductive reasoning would then say that big horsepower gains on the dyno are only as accurate as weather would allow.

When a dyno run is made, then, all current elevation and weather conditions are factored in to make a dyno run in Michigan compare apples to apples to a dyno run in, say, Texas.

Dyno operators will input a SAE correction factor for heat, humidity and Pressure.
Some Dynos actually calculate, no operator input.

In Michigan My correction factors have been .97-1.02.

Hope this helps.
