It's time for Florida L owners to get together in Tampa. There was some talk about doing this last week, but only two L’s made it out. I know there are about 6 or 7 of us within 35 minutes of north Tampa. So, mark your calendar for Saturday, August 5th. There is a meet and car show in north Tampa (corner of Dale Mabry and Bearrs, near the Burger King and Target. Not far to the West of I275 on Bearrs). TampaBayLightning (Rich) will be out there working to take top truck for the fourth straight month. I believe things get started sometime between 4 and 5 PM. Hopefully Rich can hook us up with the time and info before then. This is a pretty big gathering and it would be nice to have a big showing from the Florida Lightning crowd. I think it's time for our trucks to be seen, other than from just the back. Hope to see some of you out there.

I will try to make it over from Tally. I noticed in your post that you have the Valentine 1. Are you happy with it and how did you mount it. I am on the verge of ordering one but wanted to know all I could before spending that amount of money.

BEARIT - Hope to see you in Tampa. I am very happy with the V1. To be honest, I don't use so I can haul a$$ everywhere I go. I use it because it helps remind me not to go so fast and to let me know when I'm being watched. There is not doubt it has saved me more than a couple of times. Right now I have the V1 mounted on the windshield and the remote on the steering column. I am working on a different mounting setup so I can get it off the windshield. I ordered a couple of extra visor mounts so I can try some different things. I’ll post what I come up with.
