anyone know the exact speed he was going?

 

The speedometer only goes to 140, how do ya tell after that?

I think that he posted that he was going 138 MPH.

 

If you put your odometer in test mode, the digital readout of your speed goes higher then 140...

Or you can do the timed mile... Hey quit laughing thats what I did in my moms '90 cougar speedo only reads up to 85 mph. Then I switched it to kph, it keeps going.

so 138 is the official time? Cause I have a bone to pick with a little R/T owner on FVC who says it looked like he was only goin 110 or so. SO IF the official time can be found, that would be fantastic!!!

When he first posted it I asked him his speed and he wouldn't say. Only thing he replied was something like: "The needle was biased extremely to the right." However, when the video was originally post it was entitled: NATHAN140MPH. Being that he or someone involved titled it that should be an indication. Besides, I wouldn't gather my buddies and a camera along a deserted stretch of Texas highway to go 110, would you? That's right, I'd show'em what that bad boy could do, come hell or high water.
