Talked to High Risk after his run and he said he fell asleep at the tree (might be true considering how long it took him to get here from Michigan).
Just a little note about this shootout...no NO2 was allowed...all other power adders were allowed but not juice.Don't know why. Also noticed this shootout was done badly (lack of attendance and bad timing,4th of July weekend)...

JohnnyLightning,
Good to here from you. Congrats on your excellent times!!! I sure do wish we all lived closer, it kinda sucks only getting to see you and the other great L owners @ WFC weekends. I guess I should count my 'L blessings', I do get to see reality1, Lightning Bob, and BigD 'at a moments notice'.
Anyway, GREAT TIMES!
Later,

Congratulations on your win, and getting into the 12's. I'd like to know if you are still running the programs from WFC, and how you get your DR's to hook up so well. What tire pressure do you run, and how are you launching. I rarely get below 2.0 60' times and know this is killing my ET's. I am also interested in the ram air kit, so let me know when you have it finished. You can e-mail me at lightning_624of4000@yahoo.com if you don't want to respond online. Thanks,
Lightning Bob
P.S. Update your signature with your new best time.

Congradulations to Johnny Lightning. He ran good all day and deserved the victory.
I had a good run in qualifying 12.677 @ 106. Got a bye run in first round. That's when my luck changed. Bad burnout, bad stage, real bad light. Not to make any excuses. You know the saying "you snooze you lose".
It was pretty cool meeting some of the east coast F150online guys (spirro,Johnny lightning, and the infamous Lightning tuner). I wish I could of hung out longer and didn't look like a sore loser. We made it back in nine hours. I think we set the F350 powerstroke/Lghtning on the trailer land speed record of just over 90.
We did have a good showing Sunday placed 4th with a rookie driver and drove the car on the trailer. I slept for 18 hours. I'm getting too old for this.
We need to set up a Norwalk race. Seven hours for the east coast guys. About seven hours for the Chicago guys. Two or three hours for the Detroit guys.
HIGH RISK
