I was wondering if any of y'all have heard anything new about Cal Tracs (other than what you get with a search). I searched and found that people were having problems installing them and were having to order new pieces to make them fit. Has anyone bought / installed a set recently? Has this changed? I am interested in ordering a set but am hesitant now that I have discovered these problems. Someone please help settle my fears (and tell me how much of a $$$ hit they are). Thanks.

Thanks Mike. If you don't mind and think it would help, please measure them for me. If you don't have time, don't worry about it. It's gonna be a few weeks before I have time to make a move on 'em. Could someone elaborate on these? How about installation? Also can they be seen from the outside of the truck i.e a simple glance or do you have to crawl under to see them?

 

There 319.00 plus s&h. There kinda noticible to me. You can see them with out crawling under the truck.
