Fog Light Question...
Fog Light Question...
Does anyone know of an after market company that makes an OEM replacement for the factory fogs on 99-04 Ls?
I called the dealer, $162.00 each side!.
Looking for one that looks stock not blue or hologram or any of that crap.
Any leads would be great, mabey a website or something
Thanks
Marc

Quite a while back, there was a post here on some fogs from Wal-Mart that were close to a "perfect" fit, you can probably find that post easily if you want the part number (although finding the exact light again might be tough). I also know of others who have adapted aftermarket lights without much trouble.
Go measure the diameter of the light, and shop for some that are the same, or very close. Any light that is close in size should be able to be adapted without too much trouble.
For wiring, you can t-tap the oem wires, or cut the wires off of the oem fogs and splice them onto the new lights' wires, so that you do not have to cut the oem harness.

This may be a stupid question... a couple of stupid questions.
Why won't the 00 glass foglights fit in a 02?
Also, is it an easy install? I'm really unskilled in this sort of stuff. Really unskilled.

They were for my 01' but didnt end up needing them.
