IT wil be a good combo to add since you have a port you lost low end which will be regained. Is that a off the shelf predator? I hope not because that will be like making a apointment for a blown motor

I wouldnt put on a 2.76 upper. You will be losing top end speed. And a guarantee your belt will scream worse then a virgin getting gangbanged.

How do you figure that you will loose TES w/a 2.75 upper? Maybe if you're running 140mph!
As for belt slip...I have been running a 2.75 upper for 4 years now along with a Metco Idler set up and have never experienced belt slip!

I chose not to go with the 6lb lower due to reading about people calling it the grenade. was just wondering if I would see any gain with the 2.76. Thanks for the info. Kat

You should see about 1 to 1.5 #! As previously indicated you will need to get an idler kit or you will probably see some belt slip which will negate the add'l boost.
Check the used parts forums as I have seen them advertised used.

One other thing...you may have to grind down the fins on your snout (as I did w/2.75) for clearance! No problem though!

You are a very rare case. back when i had my steig on a stock block. my truck lost 18rwtq untill 4500 but gained after that but what good is that. I added the upper and it was a all around improvement

Mine wasn't a Steig port. Bill (wjm) ported it. I was looking at my dyno sheets and aside from no loss it ramped up a lot faster. I wonder if it is because i only have a catback stock cats?

Mine measures 2 and 3/4". I haven't heard of a 2.76, but, that doesn't mean they don't exist!
