i'm willing to place 100k on the fact 75% of those cars will never see more than 30k in value. The exceptions to the bet in my opinion are the 03-04 Lightning, Camaro SS, Trans Am, and the 93 Cobra. And the only way these apply is if they have ultra low mileage and all documentation.

You can tell you're from NH when you think a IROC-Z is going to be worth 100k one day. Hahaha

Ha Ha Ha I bet the people on ebay were laughing too when the 69 copo camaro brought just over 1 million too. Or the first shelby off the assembly line did $600k 3 months ago too.

You might be right, the iroc might not bring that kind of $$ but ive already seen irocs bring 20k with 20k-30k miles

#2 Having something that nobody else has

#3 I paid $19k for it 5 months ago and have been offered $30k already and can see this thing going for more than $50k at barrett Jackson in 5 more years. Specially if they make a gen 3. Personally i see it going for up to $100k by the time i retire which is a pretty dam good investment concidering i get to enjoy it in the process

I agree on the respect! Ive had my 94 Ranger 12 yeas and its fraking flawless inside and out and ive drove over 200k_

BUT i would take the blue beats over the gen 1

I'll give you the Copo Camaro being a huge surprise. That shocked a fair amount of people. But forigve my chevy ignorance but what were there 10 of those Copo's produced from the particular dealership? An IROC was straight from the factory and mass produced.

Now the Shelby that just sold for 600k cant be taken into account. Yes, granted it would have went for say 100k being it was the first car, the people bidding on it were bidding on it for charity. No one really wanted a 600k mustang. They did it to help the Carrol Shelby Foundation.

Gotta love people like you who have nothing better to do than try to start pissing matches on every thread.Isnt it obvious yet that people really dont give a ***** about your opinion?? Didnt someone already take your head off a few days ago in another thread you hijacked??LOL

Secondly it is very clear that you are the kind of person who just makes excuses when you are PROVED wrong. You would not do very well in racing heads up. I can see it now.........."I spun my tires" , "I missed a shift", Or some other lame a$$ excuse........Ive seen people like you all my life.........

Get over it. this thread has been dead for 3 days already.................

Good for you Lightningquick! I love your trucks man, and to have only 2800 miles on a Gen1.. That is sweet. I wish that my 2002 wasn't my daily driver sometimes so I could keep miles off of it. But at least the 40,000 i've got on it have all been the best miles of my life!! I agree with you, there's not a better sport truck out there... Bar none!

I bought a motorcycle to keep the miles off the truck.... Hopefully i don't get whacked by a damn cottontop here in florida. It's scary!!!

Sell the 93 and invest the 20k in CELG, you will see it grow to 80k in two years time. In five years you will have 640k. There are much better ways to invest money.

believe me i dont need financial advise. i do well enough on my own

Unless you are born with cars and trucks in your blood, You cannot pass judgments on people who CHOOSE to spend their disposable income on cars and trucks.

We dont do it for financial gain. If it does climb in value then great but thats not why people collect things.

I love trucks and certain cars.People like me do it because they love vehicles and the same way a crack addict is addicted to crack, people like me are addicted to cars. You will never change us and there is no cure.........You are either born with it or not.

now for your financial advise, Anybody who starts putting $$ in the stock market right now with the world as fragile as it is needs their head examined.
Wew are about to go into world war III any day...................Ill keep mine as liquid.......

You are incredibly nieve. You can't carry on a senseable conversation, you speak off topic like it's your job, and you make absolutly no sense. For some reason, you take everything personal and cant seem to take advice on anything. I've found that the people that claim they have all the money in the world, dont have it. Whatever makes you happy buddy. Looking forward to your next completely off topic come back.

BTW- I've never heard of cars and trucks being "Liquid" assets

Why does being from NH have anything to do with that?
