LSTORM, Sal here. I am taking care of the temp chips in the order they were originally sent out. Mike Wesley has been kind enough to supply me with a certain number of temp chips for exchange purposes. I am doing the exchanges in batches of however many he sends me. I must return the temp ones to him before gettinr more. This process is moving pretty quickly so far, but there are over 40 temp chips out there, so it may take some time to do all of them.

Is Sal now accepting temporary chips for replacement with the new 4 stage chip?

Do you need to contact him first?

How long does it take to get the replacement?

Does anyone have shipping instructions for the temp chip?

Can he program one of the settings for towing?

Is he now accepting orders for filter kits?

LSTORM, I was under the assumption that he was going to send out the new chips with instructions on sending back the temp one. Could be wrong. We need to contact him on this one to be sure.

I just got my 4 stage from him this week. I'd sent back my temp chip for detonation problem. I blame this problem on the california gas which is oxygenated and contains mtbe. Anyway, I just got his addy off the web page and sent it back with a letter explaining the problems. I also gave him my preferences if he had gotten the 2 stage or 4 stage chip in. He emailed me a couple of days later and said he had the 4 stage so this is what I got:

Stock
Street Perf
Race 1 - requires octane booster
Race 2 - requires 104 octane unleaded race fuel only

Havent ran race1 or race2 yet.
I'm sure he can set you up a tow setting.
Friend of mine mentioned that Valet mode would be nice to prevent joy rides, RPM limited and reduced fuel/spark curves. Wish I would have thought of that
