Hardwiring into Overhead console?

I have a V1 (Valentine 1) radar detector and it sits perfect suction cupped above the rearview mirror just under the blue tint, but the power coil cord has to run down to the a/c outlets which sucks because it looks stupid and obstructs vision a tad.

Has anyone done this, or hardwired anything into the overhead?

I havent even looked if there is a good ground or how to take it off even, Im hoping I can do this without much trouble.

Thanks for any help

-Sean

you might see car ads that say the Escort is the best.

But i have the valentine 1 and it has paid for itself 10 fold since purchase, granted I dont do 20-30 over, but i try to do around 10-15 over on long trips and if you are a smart driver, it will save you.

Once you live with the arrows you will never go another detector route again.

The valentine 1 is the only one that will pick up multiple bogies and point them out, it flashes the strongest one, it will filter out most false alarms, it is the best $450 I have spent for a vehicle.

www.valentine1.com

you wont regret it
