Nice truck man i like the smooth step covers.

i wouldnt replace your stock pulley unless youve done some extensive work under the hood. such as intake, 65mm throttle body, new mass airflow sensor, maybe a Hypertech thermostat and a few other bolt on's. but If you do replace it tho id go with a Johnny Lightning pulley and get the Diablo Predator sport tuner so you can get it running right.

i dunno its hard on the engine if everythings stock right?

thats the first thing i went to replace on mine and was advised otherwise by a few local lightning owners. buddy of mine just threw on a 5LB pulley and its running like garbage.

Unfortunately most of that is incorrect. The factory intake flows well enough for a 4 lb. pulley, although most replace it anyway. He does not need to replace his throttle body, a/f sensor or thermostat to run the pulley either. The most important thing is to get a good tune, preferably on a dyno. I know with my 4 lb. pulley I had to add a MAFia since my MAF was close to "max"ing out.

stock trucks are fine for a 4 pound pulley with proper tuning. I would replace the stock filter with a K&N, then add a 4 pounder and tune it properly on a dyno. The mail order tunes are too risky.

With good weather, you should have a 12 second truck.

Welcome,

Nice color choice too!

IMHO do some research here on the boards, there is a ton of information available, just search first and if you've been talking to some of the local guys in your area their experiences may help guide you. Find a good tuner locally or maybe a short drive away.
