Traction Bar Options?

Please, i know i'm going to get my head bitten off for not using the search, but i did, and my question hasn't been found.

#1.
I only know of 2 mfg's, Metco, and LFP.
Is there anymore company's that make them?

#2.
I've seen them made in 54" and 58" lengths.
What are the pros and cons between the 2 lengths?

#3.
It seems that these kits are a bolt on deal.
Is there a company that makes a set of weld on instead of bolt on?
If there is a company that makes a set of weld ons, is it a waste of time, money, and effort?

I'm running a stock height 99 lightning, with no intentions of ever lowering it.
It has a full Bassani exhaust as well.

I appreciate the help.

1. Lakewood, JLP, Caltrac etc. have you tried Google or one of the websites like
Summit or Jegs?

2. Don't know. I have the 58" bars and they are fine.

3. You can't really weld the brackets on the axle end due to where and how
they fit with the U bolts.
I suppose you could weld the brackets on the chassis end but don't see any
advantage. If the bolts are tight, the brackets don't move.
Being a bolt in deal makes it easier to fit for the majority of people and you
have the option to remove them if you need to.

If you are ever going to lower your truck a significant amount, avoid the LFP bars. You will hate how much the front bracket sticks down.

Or you will love it! (The Look)

I assume you are refering to ground clearance?

You're close to JDM, no?.. just get a set from them if they have any in stock. I waited months for my LFP bars... I switched anyway when one of mine got bent.
