Can Anyone tell me where we can purchase wheel locks specifically for our svt wheels part numbers, prices and place? Appreciate any info.

Past posts here have aid that they are made by mcgard but only avail through Ford.

Just go to your local wheel store and the will have a part # and can order them for you. I was told the same thing.

I haven't had any luck getting the wheel locks for the '00 L. I can get several types of locks for a '99 but not the '00. I had the guy at Discount Tire call several lock suppliers and they all told him the same thing, only available through Ford. Ford has had them on national back order as of a few weeks ago. After waiting for the locks for 4 weeks, I finally asked for my money back. Anyone have any updates from Ford?

You can do that for a '99, but not for an '00, Super Chicken. Gorilla and McGard both made sets for the '99s, but Gorilla has no plans to tool up for the 14mm studs on the '00s, and the McGards will only be available through your friendly Ford dealer - set of 4 is more expensive than the 20 lug McGard set for the '99s. Can you say monopoly? I ordered mine on April 10, and as of today they are still TBD.

I have a set on mine. Not even on the market yet for sale.

 

After posting the above, I e-mailed Gorilla to see whether they had plans to offer wheel locks for the 14mm x 2 studs. They responded that they had been making them for at least four months now, and that I should check with Discount Tire or America's Tire and they should be in stock. Now this is bogus, because I have only had my truck three months, and I went to both of the above sources and they were unable to order a set for the '00s.
I asked discount for a p/n, and they gave me 76603F, which sounds suspiciously like the number for the 12mm x 1 3/4 nuts. However, if anyone wants to try and get a set, and finds it works (or doesn't), feedback would be welcome.

I got them direct though a ford Vendor. The dealer said they would not be out for 6 months I wanted them now. I can see what I can do on getting another set or find out the ford part number...

Just FYI, I called Gorilla directly about a month ago and they indicated that they could get me a set for my 00L. I believe the ladies name I spoke with was Kay and she said the part# was 76601N for a set of 4 or 76603N for a set of 20. Their web site is: www.gorilla-auto.com

 

srelight, I am pretty sure that number is bogus. Whatever p/n they give you, it should have an F on the end (for flat washer), not an N. But I don't think Gorilla knows the diff between an L. and a regular F150.

 

alphadoggy, You may be right about that although I did specify that it was for a 2000L and that they were 4 x 20mm. Can't tell you for sure as I haven't ordered any yet.

 

I stopped by Discount Tire to check on the wheel locks. Got the guy to call Gorilla and ask if they had any available. He was told that they didn't have any availble and were not planning on producing any.
