CT to Detroit once approx 1400miles.

CT to Raliegh NC approx the same.

Got out both times and wanted to keep on drivin her.

 

The longest I have taken the L is approx 850 miles from VA to MS (and back). No problems, pulling a motorcycle and trailer. Next April, will be going from VA to CO, 1700 miles, one way and will be towing my stang. Cant wait to see how the L tows the stang. I love putting the L on the road. I like to see how people look at the L as I pass them. (always getting attention in the L)

 

Abuquerque to topeka (lightning fest) approx 900 miles each way
Alb to Denver 470ish miles each way
Alb to Las vegas NV 500 each way.
No problems except speeding ticket in AZ for going over 100 in a 75 zone.

 

"Five" 1750 mile trips from So Oregon to So Cal and back. Lot's of fun and never a mechanical issue. Average 16 mpg running with the cruise on. JLP lower, Stage 2 heads and cams, ported blower & 6 lb lower.

 

AZ to FL and back once.

AZ to VA once.

 

After being away from my wife for seven months playing minor league baseball, I drove 23 hrs. straight from Williamsport PA, to Tampa FL. I wouldn't suggest anyone to do that, but I had pretty good motivation

 

To this date the longest trip is from Springfield, MA. to Factory Five Racing in Wareham, MA. About 180mi. round trip.

Tomarrow I'm heading up to Maine. It's a couple hundred miles, so when that trip is done, the longest trip will have been about 400mi. round trip.

 

I feel pretty good. I got better than 17mpg each way. No cruise control and in a hurry both ways. Better than I expeced. Mid to high 80's and low humitidy. Moderate traffic, averaged 80mph. I wonder how consistantly I could pull off better than 17mpg.

The truck was awsome. Manuvers so much better than the '98 I had. My girl doesn't like it though. The exhaust is loud. I guess we'll take her car on trips, when she gets a new one.
