G~

Is Jasper still building the MB's?

Its just not the same as it use to be...

My Jasper built MB bites! Shifts real soft, doesn't bite hard at all...never has and I have been through 3 of them. They all failed from just daily driving and there wasn't a difference in any of them. My current one has less 1500 miles on it and has only seen the track once for a total of 4 runs. I remember riding around in a L with a Gregg Evans built MB and it was a completely different story! Kickin' ars and taking names!

Not trying to start any wars here...just venting!

-MM

Customer service to a select few maybe. I tried emailing him at least a dozen times without any replies to get a different 2CR. The one I got was no different then the 2C that was in there if not a tad softer. Wasn't happy with that especially after getting a tranny fluid bath for a second time.

Greg, I sent you numerous emails and posted on the other board about problems w/ my FTVB and you never got back to me! What gives. Brian

I think the FTVB experience is completely subjective. I have one of the first ones; and, it shifts exactly the way I would have wanted it to. Other people don't even notice that there is a shift kit in it, if they've never driven a stock lightning. Much quicker shifts, without a kick in the pants at every shift.

SOME PEOPLE LIKE A GOOD KICK IN THE PANTS, I GUESS.

G, did you get it in the mail yet? The reason I ask is because I'll be transfering jobs and moving in a week and didn't want it to get hung up in shipping land.

I Just wanted to state for the record! That Greg contacted me,and like a man of his word He corrected my situation.
I think that he deserves a lot of credit. Many of us will always say negative things about a vender when we have an issue, but forget to let others know when the vender steps up and corrects the problem.
Thanks again Greg for your outstanding sevice. And by the way this is the first VB that I have had in any of my Lightnings that barks 2nd gear w/ no other mods done to the truck.I am very impressed! Brian :

Just wanted to update and give a thanks to Gregg. He ended up contacting me for my address and what I wanted changed and I got a new 2CR wednesday from him. Didn't get a chance to install it this weekend though. Hoping for the best with this one.
