AFAIK, they are wrong. It's a spring drop. And it's not 2"

Really?

So can I just get some stock Lightning springs for my 1998 and get a drop out of it?

If I remember correctly I think the Lightning front springs lower it 1 inch in front.

That would be a fair deal, but a 1'' drop for me does not really justify the labor cost I will be paying for the spring change.

Good luck on selling your truck.

What you getting next? The Ford "GT" perhaps?

I put in my 2.5" eibach springs in myself its sooo easy dude

I can step you through it seriously its just like 5 or 6 bolts on each side, then go get it re aligned

I would be happy to type it all out for you, or find my old thread or something that can help you if you want to buy them

If I remember correctly, the SVT literature states .6" front and 2" in the rear. The front gets the drop from the springs which are shorter and have a higher spring rate of 665lbs.

Patman,
Isn't there issues with popping off the ball joints? What about needing a spring compressor? These are the questions I ask myself......

THANKS!

The shocks act as a spring compressor, if you look at the top of the shock there is a long bolt, after loosening that (like 2 dozen revolutions) the spring is uncompressed. And then its 20 or so revolutions back down. BE ready for a work out if you dont have air tools.

Yea heres my break down of how to do it, this i wrote up shortly after i did it, i think its fairly complete on everything needed to do in order
