What shock for my drop.
What shock for my drop.
Ok, so I admit it I am a junky. Said to myself I am not spending any more money on the L and going to restore my bronco, what is one more part???
Still have not tackled my drop. Have bell tech drop spindles, socal front hangers and shock entenders and a drop shackle on the truck already. I am guessing it will drop the front 2 in and the rear 4 in. Only think missing is the shocks. The truck is an 2003 and only has 8,000 miles on it.
Am I good with the stock shocks or should I replace them. My main concern is ride comfort and some performance.
If I should replace them what should I get? I want the best if I do, but only good enough for what I am doing. The truck will mostly be used for pimpin, car shows, and the occasional trip to the track. I highly doubt seeing myself getting out of my truck and adjusting my shocks so not sure if I need an adjustable. I will not be concerned if I could get another 10th of a second because I could adjust my shocks, will not be going for a number.
Do the QA1 really perform better if I just plan to “set and forget” (shameless as seen on TV ad) or will hotchins bilsteins be better (are they the same as the stockers on the truck now?) What are the other choices you guys use?
I have 22in rims with bandaids for tires so I really do not get any cushion from the tires, although I think the ride is fine right now.
