Angry Worse Vendors List!!

LFP is now second on my "worse vendors" list just under SVTCustoms.com! In the 3 years that I've owned my Lightning and the $$$thousands of dollars that I have spent thru various venders...I just can't get ANY service out of LFP!! What has happened to them!!

First of all, it took almost a month to get my order (Mark said I "fell thru the cracks") then when I finally got it...IT WAS THE WRONG NUMBER/ITEM! I have sent numerous emails only one of which was replyed to saying "I didn't get the previous ones due to server problems" (oldest excuse there is...I'll bet if I was asking about ordering a big ticket item they would have gone thru fine!)

So, I finally returned the wrong item at my expense (Prioriy Mail w/delivery confirmation reciept) and advised to either send the correct item or credit my Paypal. Well, notice was left on 6/5 of "attempt to deliver" and LFP won't even claim the package as of this date! I have sent 3 more emails since 6/5 none of which have been answered!

I have had it with LFP and will never EVER buy anything from them again! Never!

I think that guys main job is building homes and the RE market is still hot in TX ( I am not 100% sure). He is probably swinging a hammer smoking a joint and forgot about the whole lightning business. Don’t blame him for hanging out with Rob too much!!!!. He was the first vendor I bought off of and got my stuff in a timely fashion, it has been 4 years though since I have bought from them.

Did you try picking up the phone???? Did you call. He has people that answer the phones durning the day. I just called for ****s and giggles and they answered on the second ring. Why don't you try that.

Seems like another Vendor rant that could have been nipped in the bud with a phone call.

That probably explains the lack of attention to his Lightning business. I just hate to be ignored like a POS when spending money with a business! I guess Chickenears has me spoiled with their GOOD service and immediate replys to emails/questions!

I'll give LFP another week or so and if I can't get some kind of response/resolution I'll just have to do a chargeback like I ended up having to do with SVTCustoms.com!

I plan on doing that again (for the second time) as a last resort...but, shouldn't have to make a long distance phone call to get some kind of response from them. My order was placed online...so, should the resolution of the wrong item being sent don't you know!

Whenever I order from LFP I ALWAYS call up and place my order on the phone with them. I want to talk to somebody just to make sure there getting my order just the way I want. I have not had a bad experience with them at all doing this. There have been times when they have not answered the phone, I just called back 3 or 4 times and they eventually answer.

Make a freakin 2 dollar call........

It cost you more in pissing and moaning about it on the boards.

Telephones were invented long before email and **** was accomplished for years that way.

I'm sorry for your issues but you people need to stop with the vendor bashing when you can't even pick up a phone and make a simple phone call. I'd be on the phone 10 times a day, not sending emails and waiting days for people to get back to me.

I disagree with a person is to blame for "not just picking up the phone." If I order from a Web site, and I pay electronically through a Web site, then I want friggin service through e-mail. I can come home from work at 8:30 pm on a Friday night (10:30 pm in Texas), write my e-mail (making a written record of my problem), and the vendor can respond the next time that it checks e-mails (in which case I get a written response to my issue).

I should not be bothered with having to remember to call someone in another time zone while I am working because an e-commerce vendor can't seem to find its keyboard.

If you can't answer freakin' e-mails, then don't have a Web presence. Period.

That having been said, I have always received great prices and great service from Mark. I have no beef with LFP and will continue to business with him.

You don't have a cel phone with free long distance? Your home phone is more thank 10cents/min? Maybe you are too poor to be modding your truck if you can't afford such things...

I agree with your 100 percent on the fact that if you offer ordering from email. Then you should be able to complete your transactions electronically 100 percent.

BUT, in the real world, there is no substitution for a one on one conversation, so if you don't get emails returned, maybe there is a problem. There won't be a problem if someone is on the other end of the phone and you are talking to them directly. And if it's long distance, your phone bill will show a copy of the call at least. And if they problem stems as far that you need to start having copies of emails for legal reasons, you've let the transaction go on way to far at that point anyway and should have just cancelled the order a LONG TIME AGO.

It's just so funny see the posts.....Calling tuner X, sent you 4 emails and 2 weeks have gone by and cry cry cry....

Pick up the god damn phone. IF they don't answer, call again.

You won't see that post from me. More like:

"Calling tuner X, sent you 4 e-mails and two weeks have gone by, and you seem to be ducking the process server who is trying to serve my summons on you. You might as well accept service at the office, because my private investigator has found your home address."
