LET THE RECORDS SHOW That to date RONBO HAS the FASTEST/QUICKEST ET. So "I" retire from this Chapter as The KING
Gator "HIMSELF" has never ran a better ET than me. So as this Chapter closes "I" and only "I" have gone faster and quicker than Gator himself has, end of story no and's if's or but's.....
Now what Gator's truck does when he isnt around, or happens to be driving, MIGHT be another story
Gator just so we make this clear, I AM NOT comparing the Super Jeep to the L as an equal, what I'm saying is being I had to step down, stepping down to being able to stomp the pedal to the floor IN THE RAIN (as I did the other day from 0 to 120 MPH) and catch 0 to 60 in under 5 sec's is quite a ride.
NOTHING I know of out there can do that in the rain, it's like launching on slicks on a well prep'd track everytime you leave the line with this thing, it's that fun. I dont think I could spin them if I wanted to WET OR DRY.
And since your doing some checking on the SRT8 Forums,
BTW these things run at over 210 Degrees for some strange reason ????
For first timers in a AWD SUV in that heat I think they did pretty dam good, others have ran as well as 13.2. If it makes you happy I'll stand corrected to say, "as Fast or Faster than a Stock Lightning". All I was saying is if I had to step down, stepping down to 420/420 AWD isnt all that bad ; o )
The prob I see with them right off the bat is the 420 Peak HP is made at 6200RPM's, (the 420 Tq is at 4800 RPM's). Even with 3.73's there is no way you can launch them even close to the power band needed to run much better et's. A part of me wants to say screw buying this other thing I had in mind for 10K, and instead go for a converter and a few other goodies,

As far as when my truck ran the 10, yeah, I was at work having a $2K weekend. Hated to miss the weekend, but since my company doesn't pay for my vehicles, I have to work for them...........BAM!!!!! LMAO

I too got rid off my Lightning and got an SRT8. I have a Red one, and I must say that it is a much nicer car to drive to work everyday. Yes, the L was faster, but it was like a using a butchers knife, and the SRT8 is a scalpel. They both are great though!! PS, I have a bunch of my old parts for sale on EBAY if you anyone is interested.
