Hey High Risk,
Is your Level 10 Converter a 9 1/2 or a 10 1/2 inch?

Wink

johnnyLightning hear... after seeing the dyno results at tha wfc i have to admit something didn't seem right to me. here's my thought you have 2 trucks weighing the same amount one truck runs 13.11 @ 104 and the other truck runs 13.16 @104.that seems like to me they should have very simalar dyno pulls! what could count for the differences? keep in mind that my truck is completely STOCK! except for the superchip and a k/n filter thats sucking alot of hot air from the fan. the other truck had a 1.87 60 ft. i had a 1.95 60ft. i wish i could have hooked that good wonder what my times would have been then?(maybe that 12 i'm lookin for)my conclusion is either that dyno was wrong or something else is missing in this puzzel that i can't see. i still plan on hitting the 12's with just a superchip and k/n THATS IT ! all i have to say is that superchips must be doing something right for this Totally stock truck to run like it does with just a SUPERCHIP!!!!

Thumbs up

Impressive dyno pull HIGHRISK.If i may be so bold to ask, what NOS system are you running?

If everyone must know,i was the bonehead that ran 13.9 with psp chip.I am hoping someday that i can get my truck into the 12's which is all that i want.

It's a N.O.S. brand kit for the 5.0 Mustangs.
Dry kit one nozzle about 3" in front of the throttle body.

Hey guys
I saw Casper tonight at the track. He was turning 13.60's at around 102 mph. He has the Bassani exhaust with bigger outlets than stock. I don't know what size comes with the kit, but these filled the gap very nicely! He said that he didn't have a chip though.

Post DYNO INFO...

Well I just got back from Paul's. I was there two hours. He's a real nice guy. Ran four pulls on the dyno. Got a chance to peek under the hood of the Rooster too. What an expensive toy that thing is!

Max rw/hp--360
Max rw/torque--421.5

With NOS
Max rw/hp--457.4
Max rw/torque--489.2

The NOS is the same jets I ran the 11.99 with.

Found out some good info on what my torque convertor is doing. We figured it is actually hurting me more than it is doing any good. Out comes the tranny again. It needs to be tightened up alot.
Also did some Green frog recon work. BABolt I'll call you later I've got a part you'll like.

High Risk,

I would love to see a write up in a major auto magazine about you and your BOLT.

That would be awesome, and build the legend
of "all" BOLTS.

Does anyone know how to get their attention ? HIGH RISK would you be interested in a cover of your efforts ?

Tx,

Hey Sal, thanks for posting that graph for me.was kinda proud of those good #'s in bad weather.

Johnny,Actually my truck weighs 4880 a little heavier than yours. And I did have a best 60' at 1.84 I did not want that posted for the intentions os saying that PSP ia a better chip. I personally have used both, and had better times with my PSP

Hey Johnny, I actually have run both chips to a best of 13.06's.But, slightly more power with the PSP. we haven't had that much great weather lately on fri. nights. Been putting the stang together, but I bet you're doing the same thing.
