It's also well known that Chevy hand pics the Corvettes for those test. There are two lightly moded(Mallet filter kit, and Corsa exhaust) C5 coupes at the local track with autos, they both run 2 tenths quicker than my stock truck. Most 6 speed Vettes are easy kills due to most of the drivers not knowing how to properly drive them.

No swaim, it was UP the onramp. And no, we weren't racing. The Porsche broke the law by dangerously passing in front of me from an illegal lane. I just sped up to see if I could get his license plate..........

from a stop the L will pull on a Vette upto 1300 ft. Just look at the MPH at the end of the 1/4. The Vette is ahead by 5+ MPH. You know that if the L has not beaten the Vette by 100 MPH it will lose bad. So make sure ya launch from a stop and call it quits before 100 MPH and the win should be yours. If you go from a roll like 30 MPH I would think it would be all Vette. Chip and filter would be the SECRET WEAPON Good luck.

 

Ok Lightningquick, maybe you missed the humor in my posts. But even if you didn't, 1) Should I send back the kid's Motocross bikes and Jetskis? You want to tell him he can't race MX anymore?
2) Who said I was going to race the guy on public streets? Maybe in New England you don't have private roads that are flat and straight. But we do here. My neighbor OWNS some. He even gets time on the local airstrip to run autocross.
3) Do you even have any kids? If so, I feel sorry for them.
