'99. Replaced fuel filter, PCV, cleaned throttle body, and MAF. It idles fine, but when I step on the gas the S/C groans and it cuts out. Opposite problem of a bad ECM.

Basically drove the truck home from work and parked it. Came out the next day and it's a paperweight.

Any ideas before I have it towed?????

 

Fuel line separation in the tank?

Sounds like a problem many have had with 99's

I second the fuel line fell off the pumps in the tank. I could easily hear the fuel pump spraying fuel inside the tank from the seperated line. Check out these threads:
