Quietest Catback

I did some searches but didnt come up with a comparison of them all. I have the JDM full exhaust with the dual mufflers what catback will be quieter than this? I might have to dynamate the interior also to rid some road noise. cant even talk on the cell phone in the truck

I thought I read on here that Magnaflows where the quietest? Myself I kinda like to cruise and not have a muffler drone but would like a little more performance sounding exhaust over stock...just a tad nothing too crazy. I actually would prefer a louder supercharger whine in an L over a louder exhuast. For me, it's all about the whine in an L. I had a 2000 used L that came with some loud exhausts and you couldn't even hear the S/C outside over the exhaust, lol.

Any sound clips of with the Magnaflows or the Borla from inside the cab and outside idling, cruising, and WOT?

I'm in the same boat, I think i'm going to but the stock catback back on with the dynatech Lt's and high flow cats it might be what I'm looking for.

For a stock setup I'd suggest removing the rear cat and see how you like that.

Can't really call it a system but before I got it the cats were gutted and I placed a set of DynoMax Super Turbos on it. It was quieter that the Flow Master one chambers that was on it, for sure. Then I put a Magnaflow X-Pipe infront of the mufflers and now I'm disapointed because it got too quiet for me. Very mellow deep throaty sound.

I've heard most available, Borla in my opinion, by the way my single muffler Magnaflow with highflows and long tubes is anything but quiet.

I've had both Borla and now Magnaflow (single). Borla by far is the quietest.

I agree with everyone else. I had the Magnaflow setup on for three days. If you've put one on yourself, you know how bad it has to be to make you jack the truck back up and take it off. The driver's side pipe is a b*tch.

From: Colorado,
I have the Bassani and there are times I wish it was louder but on trips it is a nice tone.

I know I'm old but it sounds like you guys are growing up. Next thing you know you will have grandkids like me.

I'm the cool grandpa though

I'm taking off a silverbullet catback also its way to hard on a long trip the drone is real bad after a couple of hundred miles. I went with a new Bassani Catback. Artie

Im just tired of not being able to go down the road and listen the radio even cranked up you cant hear it and mine is all aftermartket. Plus this things so loud noone will race me. I like the Borla but the tips are gay looking and will it flow enough for 600+

also my catback portion of my exhaust is about 5 years old so that might be part of the problem
