I'm getting a little upset now. I took my truck in for the intercooler leak, four weeks ago! We waited three weeks for the intercooler cooler, but it arrived with out gaskets. The gaskets aren't expected until June 15! They are the steel shim type, and should not be reused. I can't tell you guys how much I enjoy making a payment so it can sit in summer storage at the dealer. I even have some goodies to put on when I do get it back. I did file a formal complaint with Ford about it, think they'll cough up any money to cover my lease payment? What is the longest anyone had to wait for their IC to be done? I think I may have a record setter. BTW I put the dye in when I noticed the leak, it is everywhere - all over the bottom of the blower, including the rotors as well as the IC itself. Sorry, just had to vent a little.

 

The dealer I took mine to put the dye in and ordered the intercooler at the same time. Took the truck back 2 weeks later for them to look and the resevoir to see that it was down. They said they would call me when the parts were in and I got to drive the truck while I was waiting. Took them 2 days to fix it and that was that.
BTW, it was leaking for about 6 weeks before I even took it in. The L seemed to like antifreeze. hehe
