So. Cal Auto Spa Get Together
As I mentioned in another post, went last night to check out the show in Santa Paula. It consisted of 60's and earlier rod and customs, not the kind of stuff that particulary fascinates me, but there were a couple of interesting vehicles there. It was kind of small potatoes, and nobdody was interested in the L., so I split early. Will probably go again, though, because it is so close to me, the folks are friendly, and I didn't check out the tri-tip.
Btw, anyone going to the Sespe Creek Car Show and Regional Chile Cook-off in Filmore on the 4th of July? I know it will be a tough sell for my wife, she has no interest in cars, but she might be interested in the chile and fireworks, and I'm pretty sure she will go for the train ride. Here's a link with more info: http://www.fwry.com/july_4/july4_a.htm
