Don't know and don't care to try.

I don't care what the OEM says (BTW- I am not sure) but 150 ft lbs is WAY too much in my book anyway.

I have never gone over 120 lbs. in 20 years of being involved in racing everything from go-karts, legend cars, late models and dirt modified along with drag racing and all my daily drivers. Never once had a problem.

Am I wrong, maybe..Oh well I don't wear a seat belt either.

I was just trying to get a little info out about some cordless guns out there that don' break the bank for the guy thinking about getting something for the track. I am more then happy with my Snap on and I have nothing against Dewalt considering I own a 12v xrp driver, 12v right angle driver, 2 18 v drivers, 24 volt driver, 24 v recip, 24 v circular , miter saw, table saw, palm sander, belt sander, 18v radio and 18v vacuum and I am sure i am leaving out something . So yeah I am a big Dewalt guy. Just ask Rob02. Hell I probaly paid your bonus.LOL

BTW- What happened to the 24 v miter I heard was coming out a few years ago. Did I miss it or did it never come out.

But you will not see me torqing lugnuts to 150 ft. lbs.

Cordless impact guns wars...who woulda thunk it

The Snap-on has done 3 complete changes (all four wheels on and off)
on three Lightnings at the track. And it recharges in about 20 minutes
in the cigarette lighter thing. 150 ft. lbs. is no problem for this monster.

But, you get what you pay for.

As an aside, if you are using a Harbor Freight or Sears or any jack that
"levers" itself under the truck (Doesn't go STRAIGHT up) be VERY careful
on lifting under the jack points on the front of the truck. Mine slipped
right off the front of the jack and took out the wiring harness that runs
alongside the frame rail AND my nitrous line and wiring, as it guillotined
the stuff between the jack pad and the cab mounting point. ( Ouch! )

Spent the first session doing butt-joint repairs to get back on track.

Also, my jack points have been FLATTENED over the three years because
of frequent lifting I believe.... They USED to be "V" shaped, now they are
"W" shaped ... The center part just pushed down.

The Mootang crowd has jacking bars on their cars, and can lift the whole
side at once to rotate tires front to back. I am looking at doing something
like that because if you lift under the door on the "C" rail it bends the
frame. < Cheap *** steel >

Just my two cents worth ...

METADATA: JACKING POINTS, LIGHTWEIGHT, ROAD COURSE, IMPACT WRENCH

Now we are moving on to jacks?

I got a low-profile jack that is only 3,000 lbs max lift and its very light weight too.......I jack the truck one wheel at a time and use the jack stands
I got it for my b-day, I think it was bought at Sam's club for $79.00 or so
its a Goodyear with FORD RACING STICKERS on it........

I have this same jack. I like it a lot, the only problem is that it will not lift 4000lbs like it claims. It isn't quite powerful enough to lift the entire front of the Lightning, you have to do one side at a time, but it lifts the rear just fine. I thought I had a faulty unit and had it replaced by Sears only to have the replacement not be able to lift the front of the truck either. It's a good tool, but should be rated correctly at around 2500-3000 lbs.
