Lightbulb Picture of Ford's "projector" headlight assembly

Here is the picture of Ford's prototype "projector" headlight assembly for the F150. It is on their concept F150 4 Door truck named "Scuba".

Let me know what you think.

There's ANOTHER "KaChing" I'm hearing in my minds ear... Jeez, I'm thinking that when these are available, they're ON my hot rod truck. Yes, first priority among appearance options.

Cool

Great comments guys..this is what I need to show the "powers that be" to hopefully give the go-ahead, and make the bean counters happy.

This headlight assembly got more attention than the rest of the WHOLE concept truck at the show!!

The main beam is H.I.D., and the secondary is a "pencil beam" driving light. Way cool!!

Keep those responses coming, the more interest, the better the chances!!

Yoda (& others),

I am printing off the e-mail replies from this topic, and giving them to the marketing rep from Ford. Phone calls will help also, I will find out the info of who to direct the calls to and post it up.

There is no brochure available for the "Scuba" or the headlight assembly yet. I guess the marketing lit. people had their hands full with the "Supercharged Taurus" & "Focus Wagon" brochures.

I do have a larger view photo of the "Scuba" truck with the headlights.
