Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I've been researching the topic of oil separators to death. I've been experiencing the "joys" of cleaning the oil build-up in my I/C and oil in my intake/T.B. for too many times.
Can someone please give me a good opinion on what route to take and what separtor system/ method would be best. Thanks

You know what ever answer you get, people are going to say "Hey I tried that and it dont work"

In the 5 years I've had my truck I have NEVER ONCE had to add oil to it between oil changes, so just how much oil is it really sucking to begin with ?
And remember we have "2" oil sucking problems.

The easy answer is put a Working PCV Valve on it first (the factory one does not work, take it off and blow through it both ways and you'll see). Then put a Breather on it, then consider a reverse check Valve for the Drivers Side.

I use the exact set up I just said and have no issue other than a very very slight oil film in the upper. I've seen my intercooler many many times and never once did it have a drop of oil on it nor need cleaning. No oil in my intake Boot, no oil on the Front Side of the Throttle Body.

For everyone I guess this problem is a little differant ???
Does a seperator work, ya been there done that, but it's ugly as chit and you have to empty the stupid thing constantly which makes a lot of people still feel maybe Ford made it this way for a reason, cause as said with the normal oil sucking going on, no one seems to ever have to add oil, but if you keep emptying out a seperator you sure will in time.....

As Rob said, there will be many opinions on this. Here is mine:

I tried the cheapo air compressor filter setup for a year and a half. Didn't work very well at all, and still allowed lots of oil into my system. I hated spending the money on the L&S setup, because I'm a cheapskate. But I finally put one on about 4 months ago, and it's great. No oil in the intake at all, and it's self-draining.

So I guess it depends on how much money you are willing to spend.

Thanks for the replies guys....sorry for the late reply.
Rob, can you explain the breather concept. I know what it is and where it goes, but is that something that would require a new tune? Thank again.

Sir, can you expand on this please? I want to go this route, I am sure if your doing it, it must be working out. Can you take pictures of what and where please? As far as the breather, did you have to conpensate for that in your tune?
