4 Valve heads in a Lightning?

Hello,

Im currently new to the lightning scene. Just got my 01 and was wondering why I dont see guys with the 4valve/4cam heads on the 5.4 blocks? Looking at my engine bay im assuming it is because they simply do not fit? If im correct the 2K Cobra R came with a 4 cam 5.4L engine.

Thanks,
STØRM <--FNG

It's all about the intake and lack of, if sticking with the roots style supercharger.

There is a couple guys running 4-valve turbo set-ups w/ a sullivan intake.

I hope to have my 4-valve w/ a blower up and running soon. Its been a long time in the making and it is finally starting to come together.

I'm pretty sure Mike at MADD Enterprises has the Navi heads on his L. Are those 4 or 3 valve, or none of the above?

yeah the navi heads are 4v...2v heads are capable of some pretty good numbers too though.
