Noises inside cab

I just know i'm gonna get rashed for this but here it goes.
Before anyone tells me (I did use the search but it didn't answer my ?)

Now that i got that out of the way.
When i first got my L in Dec. of 05' it was real nice on the inside couldn't hear
anything. Now when I go over a bump sounds like my passenger seat is going to jump off the mounts. Seat is in securly i assure you. and i only seems to do it if i have the windows rolled down either or doesn't matter driver or passenger or even the back window get the same result. So i know people have posted before about this but i was just wondering if anyone has found the cure for it?

There now you can bash me for not using the search.

If you spend much time above 35 MPH, the wind resistance from the windows being down consumes more fuel than using the air conditioning system...

Not trueI watched a myth busters on descovery channel. They went on a track under same conditions at the same time one AC other windows roled down. same SUV's also the one that used AC ran out of gas like 25 laps before the one with windows down.

Nice contribution to the shared knowledge base.

This is one of those issues that the search usually can't help with. Unlike "tires" or "traction bars," no two people will describe a wierd problem the same way.

After 25K miles with stiff springs on L.A. city streets, my truck is pretty much a bucket of bolts. I would be happy as hell to have one noise to chase.

Mine does something very similar...it sounds like something is loose inside the driver's door banging around on bumps, but ONLY if the window is down. It is driving me NUTS...if anyone has an idea what the cause is, I would be grateful.

-Thanks.
