Predator load stock tune question

My son bought a predator for himself and decided after using it one time to ge a custom tune... he gave it to me as a gift and I asked him if he restored the original tune.

Like most son's... he said yes.

Installed a 4# pulley today and ready to kick it up... NOT. Predator tells me it's not licensed for this vehicle. ARGH!!!

Is there a way around this?

I did a search and the number of replies found was huge... looked at about 10 and found nothing to help.

Any recomendations? Can this be cleared or do I have to have my son restore to his truck first and then send it back to me (Texas/Georgia).

I am sure he can pull his chip since I think his tuner more than likely flashed his computer first.

You're correct on the restore part although I thought I had read posts before where people got into simular situations as mine and somehow obtained support for clearing and getting started again.

My son has an 03 Harley and the predator is the same.
