The dealer I bought mine from has 6 right now. 2 black, 2 red, 1 white, 1 silver and more on the way this week. They will A-plan, and are very willing to deal. I got my 99 for $27,895. E-mail me for contact name and number. They currently have them marked for 31k, but he sounded very egar to move them.

Can the Lightning Tow?
If so, how much?

5k Lbs. w/o breaking a sweat. I've done it, towing my 71 Challenger R/T home from Oklahoma. Actual trailer/car weight was 5561 lbs (found a truck stop with scales on I-35). I even had the opportunity to smack an S-10 around who thought he could take advantage of the situation, such a silly boy!

Sorry, Things didn't work out with Mike T. He apparently wanted to get rid of what he had and not find (or sell)what was wanted.

 

Where'd you get the info on the towing cap, FS? That's what the magazine articles said, but I don't see anything in my owner's manual that suggests that the cap is any different than any other f150 5.4 2wd. The reason I ask is that my new boat should come in a lot closer the 6000 lbs. than 5000.
