Question Water Injection

Would water injection help performance in our trucks in any way? What about a second set of injectors mounted in an intake plate like they make for Mustangs?

Water injection, is to control detonation. if you plan on running higher boost, it's a good insurance policy. mix it with alcohol for a super cooling effect.

Water injectionl works great on my truck. Lot's of us have it. It's called a leaking intercooler. That antifreeze really makes it gooooooooo (into the shop this week if they get me a lonaner)............

Water injection worked great on the R2800 Wasp radial engine on the Corsair in WWII. It gave the pilot added horsepower for about five minutes when the throttle was pushed past the stops to the firewall. Of course, when and if the pilot got back there was a mandatory engine change. Oh, well!!!

There was a truck at WFC that had a water injection set up; however, I do not know how he ran. Perhaps, Sal, Spiro, or Johnny would know... the truck was parked next to them.
