Fast enough.... Keep in mind that in Mustangs, Corvettes, Vipers and EVERY other FAST vehicle your butt is a lot closer to the road, which enhances your perception of speed.

Hey Dreamin, those cars that you have owned are FAST. Quarter speeds 110-114mph? The L will definitely not feel like those cars. But yes you should get one, there GREAT!! I was always under the impression that you "feel" a car is faster, more G's, when the top speed is highter in the quarter. In other words, my old 1969 428scj ran a 13.9@108mph and that would feel much faster than say an L that runs a 13.5-13.9 @ 98mph.My car was traction limited and thus the time not so great. However, in real world driving, the car was incredibly fast. One last note: Why don't car magazines track G forces for acceleration, not just for handling????? That would be very useful info.

I've complaned on this board that my L is slow, but looking at some of these post I must be in the low 13's.

When I stomp on it from 60-70 it nails me back in the seat, much more impressive than spining from a stop light!

Somebody doesn't like term rocket here, but mine is a rocket, BTW I'm going with Mr. Swansons package, I sould be making 370-380 I'll dyno it so everyone can see.

BTW I’m 3-0 today, I passed a cop on 75 in OK doing 5600rpm, and he never evened moved! What is this about 145mph?

I like what silver 2000 said.My L doesnt "feel" fast.My old Eclipse GST felt faster because it was so low to the ground.Most of the time in the Lightning it doesnt feel as though you are traveling at the rate of speed that you actually are.A chip will definately get rid of the "stock" feel and really put you back in your seat.

<He was on an overpass, so I assume that he was writing down license plates and radioing them ahead? He was parked in the left lane so I suspect that he could only see front plates. This is the 3rd time that I’ve gotten away with this little maneuver (no front plates), I’ve been hit twice with this piece of ***** laser gun that takes pictures, never got a ticket. SOB cops!
