Custom IPod holder in L

Been using this for 2 months and it's probably my favorite mod so far. Very convenient to operate while driving.

Very nice. You should try to integrate the dock into it so you dont have to have that phono plug there.

Otherwise, very kick ****

Don't plan on powering the unit inside the truck. Will stick with the Apple home charger as it's the safes method of recharging the ipod right now. I also wanted the holder to be slim and sleek, it's vitually impossible to get the charger cable inside the tube to hide it. I still need to find a 90 degree 3.5 mini jack cable, they are hard to find just buy themselfs.

Why not just buy the little dock that plugs in?? Charges it for you and everything. I love mine.

Because there are some issues with car chargers heating the internals of the Ipod up and shortening the life of the unit. The most reliable and safest way to charge a IPod is with the Apple home charger.

It's a problem with some chargers, not all. I just don't feel like spending another $400 for another video IPod. Just feel your IPod when it's on the charger, if it's getting to hot there is probably a issue.

You wouldn't happen to know of anyone that will be producing any more of these? I would love to get one for my truck.
