Metco idler pulley install problem

I'm installing the Metco idler pulley kit and it seems that the Metco bracket sits too far away from the s/c snout. My belt is only making contact with about half of the Metco idler pulley. It seems that the spacers may be a bit too long. Can anyone help?

I worked it all out. Turns out it wasn't aligned just right and everything had to really be cinched down to get it in place.
