I'll leave the Spiro hugging to CA

Expect bigger and better next year! And I'll probably hire a traffic cop for the pits so no one has to see my Yosemite Sam impression...

Dorgun, Sal here. It is always a good idea to reset your battery before racing or making dyno pulls. That process resets the adaptive tables. If you reset tyhe PCM before each run or dyno pull, that brings the PCM back to a common base and makes any kind of testing more consistant. It is not required, but it can make a differance.

Sal,

If one drives thru town all week at legal speeds etc. and then runs at the strip on weekends, would you recommend they reset their chip by dis-connecting the battery to refresh the memory of the computer/chip ?

I understand the computer learns the driving habits of the driver and perhaps doesn't make use of the chips programming right away at the strip. I have no idea if this is hog-wash or not, just asking.
