regarding synthetic oil
Just got off the line with: SVT, Ford Racing and RedLine
SVT said: because of the warranty issue they would not do it but if you do make sure it is the recommended weight. If you are going to change make sure there are 4000-5000 miles on the engine.
Ford Racing said: engine rings should be seated first, approx. 500 miles.
RedLine said: engine should have 500-1000 miles on before the change.

ps FORDSALES I love the two different answers you got from Ford. What a joke. Those kids that answer at SVT have all their answers on a computer screen. They don't know anything and none of them make enough to buy a Lightning.
The reason Ford doesn't recommend synthetic oil is because they don't have any to sell. The minute they hook up with someone that will change overnight.
