I worked in Nehalem (small beach city) this summer, it was a 2 hour drive from my home in Portland I would work for about 5 days then drive home for a few then drive back... the drive went by so fast because it was full of beautiful scenery and was a fun drive... unlike Portland to Eugene.

The cross country drive isn't so bad. I did North Carolina to Portland Oregon solo in 3 days. Done a bunch of trips Portland to Road Atlanta and Portland to Mid-Ohio too. Just getting out of NJ will motivate you to the Rockies. It's all down hill from there. LOL.

I may actually be headed back that direction at some point.

Bill, got anyone looking to hire someone with a mechanical engineering degree?

I may have a couple of leads for you. If you are serious let me know and I will send you some info on a couple of companies. Unfortunately none are automotive related. Stay away from Freightliner. I have a friend that was an ME for them. He got tired of lay-offs and rehires so he moved on. Still very unstable there.

Definitly interested. Couple things I spose I need to clarify first. I have a MET degree vs. a ME degree. Just a tad more hands on versus the FEA stuff. And I am getting married out here in Montana late September, so I am probably not gonna be able to start before then. Hit me up with a PM, or use the link in my signature to email me. Thanks for any help you may provide.
