Come on man, the search function on this forums isn't very useful IMO (vBulletin ), and I did search first. I found an older thread from 04 that had a few responses that seemed positive. I'm looking for some follow-up from people who have been using a motor from Dante for a while...

Post this here!

Most of Dante's customers are on our local Forum. Dante puts together a very good long block. Quite a few reliable 10 sec L's have come out of Dante's. Dante also frequents the socal forum.

That is where I will go for my next motor based on my experience with people who have one of his engines.

Dante did the cams and valvesprings in my turbo truck.
Very good guy, very knowledgable.
I would not hesitate to do business with him again.

Whats wrong with the search ? Other than people dont want to use it ? Or they dont take the time to learn to do an effective search

The search has gotten a bit fuxored since the last upgrade.

I sometimes get unpredictable results. An "and" search turns into a "or" search, words seem to get ignored, wildcards don;t work properly, etc.

Give it a try with something other than a single-word phrase as see if you can replicate the problems.

Also, while we are on the subject, I have always hated the fact that you cannot search for three-letter words. This severely limits the usefulness of the search function. I'm sure that there is a good reason for it, but I wonder if that reason is worth the price in search effectiveness.

Thanks
