Tried searching but all threads got off topic.

I know the build # won't be available till late this year.

How do I get the built date? Is it on the sticker? I got a long 19 alpha/numeric number on the lower right hand side of my window sticker with a date after it of 02/07/00. Is this the built date? Some have gotten 3 different dates by looking at the door jam, valve cover and computer.

How do I really tell, just curious..........

The date on the stikcer is the truck's "buck Date" which is when the body was welded together, the valve cover is the engine build date, teh sticker is the "official" build date on OTPs numbers, the day the factory "sold" the truck. I dunno about the door jam number, never looked at it. The Buck date is not always the actual build date, my buck date is 3/17/00, but the transmission wasn't built until 3/20/00, the engine is 3/13/00. I have no idea how these numbers will compare to the SVT build date when we get them.

The build #'s or dates are nowhere on your paperwork. Compared everything last year when dates and #'s came out and no matches.
